a few years ago my brother was up in Haines Alaska and scored a few sandwich baggies of concentrates from Porcupine creek at the time me and the gummer panned out a bunch of them but he had also gave a couple bags to my boss ,, well he never did anything with them and yesterday he gave them back to me and said have fun ,,, and I did enjoy

I don't know about the dust though "johndoe".    I spent considerable time on the Arkansas River in Colorado "tap" panning flour gold out of black sand at around $10 dollars a bucket.  LMAO !

I still have nightmares about it !

I've been prospecting for over 25 years, and in that time I've seen some ingenious ways of dealing with black sand separation techniques and the elimination of red clays.

Don't want to re-post them here as it would be too lengthy and redundant, but I created a thread under "General Prospecting" entitled "To Dig or Not To Dig"  "That Is The Question".   

It's advise mainly intended for novice prospectors, but you might run across an interesting tip here and there.

Congratulations! It's not always easy to pan for gold and FIND it too. Now you can invest it into a rollover or something. Best of luck in the future!
