This is primarily meant to serve as an encouragement for those with disabilities, showing that they can enjoy prospecting for Gold.  We were rushed during the making of the first video by an approaching Thunderstorm.  This is filmed on my back porch, where because of my disabilities, I do the majority of my prospecting.  I sluice, pan, and do finishing.  In addition to this we metal detect around our yard.  It is amazing the amount of things you can do, even when you are afflicted by life's challenges.  If someone is encouraged by this, then we already won.

Thanks all and safe prospecting.

Like many n this site, I have almost zero experience, or ability to make and edit a video.  I did find this fun and challenging.  I know I need to find a more robust program.

Thank you Michael.  This "contest" is a great idea, that will allow us to see how other are prospecting, which I think is great.

Recter,

We'll done sir. Very cool and I like that you encourage other disabled vets to try gold prospecting. I'm from Colorado and have been figuring a way to get vets into mining. It's very cathartic and helps put your mind in a good place, if only for a little while.

Great job, keep on keeping on sir. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Humbly, ColoradoMike

From one disabled vet to another great job .As my disabilities do slow me down some. But still love being out doors moving some dirt.

Exactly right,

I use this as a way to reset and stress (PTSD) relief.

Recter, great video my combat Brother. I too say that prospecting helps me as well. There was a time that I stayed at home, with the exception of work and grocery shopping (Still hate this). I came across gold prospecting videos on YouTube. Researched my area and amazingly enough, it is one of the few places in Virginia that bears gold. Now, I can't wait for the weekends to get into the woods and play in the creek. It gives me a reason to get up in the morning if you will. Thanks again for your service, your strength and your video.

Glad you were able to find something like this, and glad it helps.  I think there are a lot of other vets out there that would benefit from this...

Thank you for your service my brothers!
