Once the publisher takes care of the book and my royalties come in hard to say what that will be but I'm being told a best seller by a lot of women ?

V3i for 1500 and save the rest.... lol

You would still have enough to also get a dedicated gold machine with plenty of money left over....

I just won an AU Gold Finder last month. But there is still snow on the ground and ice in the water so I have to wait a bit to try it out. And I am looking into a pin-pointer.

My go to detector currently is the new to me E-Trac. I still have my well learned AT Pro, I  acquired a Original gold bug and a minelab Gold Monster for the Au.

I have White's V3I and the Minelab E-Trac. I like the E-Trac much better but use the V3I as a backup.

Hi from supposedly bad ground in California.  I am an absolute newbie to this hobby but do know that gold is my major focus and realistic finds are in the grain size, not gram.  I have been watching a few threads and have come to the conclusion that VLF is where I need to start.  I am not ready to go Minelad Zed 7000 future tech just yet.  Have looked at Gold Bug 2, Minelab Gold Monster 1000, and the Minelab X-terra 705.   But hear about a new Minelab Equinox 800 is sounding really good.  So do any of the experienced people have any views or opinions?  Anybody's ideas are welcome.  Thank you.  Daniel   😎   😀
